Evangelism

Partners in Mission is engaged in holistic evangelism. We always share the Gospel of Jesus Christ . . . in schools, churches, small villages, and wherever invited. Partners in Mission preaches the gospel, educates children and adults, facilitates better health and nutrition, and teaches about the importance of keeping the environment clean. We share with the poor and suffering in some practical ways. Some of our projects include:
  • We teach and facilitate brick-making in the remote communities in Kapchowra, Uganda.

  • We visit Maasailand in Kenya, bringing cassava and bean plants to grow in this arid place. Both provide good nutrition for people who often suffer from drought conditions. We also work with local leaders to provide literacy training.

  • We visit refugee camps where we help provide water and simple food to newly arrived refugees; encourage people to plant their own gardens in their communities; teach marketable craft-making; in the past, we helped the Christian community build an interdenominational Christian Center.

  • We visit hospitals and clinics where we offer hope for the suffering and encouragement for the bereaved. We meet with mothers to explain best practices for health and nutrition.
  • Under the Direction of Rev. John Mulindabigwi, we established the Kamwenge Secondary and Vocational Institute (KSVI) in February 2007. KSVI serves a community of refugees and displaced people, teaching them practical and useable vocational skills as well as offering a secondary education. It is a continuing project of PIM.
